TWS currently base their WordPress service on the 2024 theme template, with blocks, which offers a robust framework for most requirements, and as the name implies, it’s up to date, and made by WordPress for their platform.
TWS offers bespoke functionality based on php code to support your web site requirements such as tools, secure client areas and more. As WordPress is written in php, which is the backbone to all TWS sites, there is little that can't be handled.
Please note, you need to understand the mechanics of the Word Press environment to use this service. Also, there are other considerations that it be beneficial for you to understand beforehand, such as the requirement to upgrade plugins over time, the generally automated manner in which WordPress updates itself, which could lead to conflicts that need to be fixed, and the fact that an untrained person can mess a WordPress site up if they don't know what they are doing. However, these are all small consideration, and WordPress if the go to framework for many people.
*For the basic content service the client must provide the content in Word documents or pdfs (up-to 10 pages) or equivalent exactly as it should be in one hit, i.e., no chopping and changing content, unless on the full custom service. Remember, with a WordPress site you can readily add your own content.
TWS do not manage WordPress sites for performance or SEO. However, if you chose the annual management service, TWS will handle any content edits you might have as well as the maintenance of the WordPress environment, including php upgrades etc, as well as email accounts if required.
